Once we found out that 1 in 6 people in Ventura County is struggling with food insecurity, we felt that giving back to our community was the answer. Organic Infusions is proud to be partnering with FOOD Share by donating 8 meals for every order that is placed on our website.
Food insecurity across American households means there is a lack of access, at times, to enough food for an active, healthy life for all household members. There are 49 million people across the U.S. who are food insecure including 16 million children. Statistically, as poverty and unemployment increase and home ownership decreases, food insecurity increases.
